Private calorie tracker
Track what you eat, keep the rest to yourself
A food diary says a lot about you. Day Pal is built to collect as little as it needs to work, and to tell you plainly what it keeps.
Start without an account
You can log for as long as you like without giving us an email. If you create an account later, it is so your diary follows you to another phone.
Meal photos are never stored
A meal photo is re-encoded on your phone before upload, which strips the location and every other tag. Our server analyses it and drops it. We keep no copy, and we have no bucket of photos to leak.
Speech stays on your phone
Voice logging uses your phone's on-device speech recognition. Only the text is sent. If your phone has no on-device model for your language, the mic button is not shown at all.
What we do keep
Your diary, targets, weight and workouts are stored on our servers so they sync and survive a new phone. They are encrypted at rest and in transit. We never sell user data, and we never send your name or email to an AI provider.
Leave whenever you like
Export your data for free on any plan. Delete your account in the app and it is gone in the same request, with a receipt to confirm it.
